Notices & Disclosures

1 No minimum deposit required to open a Basic Current, however account must be funded within 15 days of opening.
2 Interest bonus is a one-time credit to your account when you reach your savings goal which is equal to the total amount of interest you have earned over the life of your account. The bonus is paid the day your statement cycles when your account has been opened for at least 185 days and you have reached your savings goal. You may choose a savings goal amount ranging from €1,000 to €20,000.
3 €500 monthly credit card spend is calculated by looking at all your Credit Card accounts and adding the total amount spent on any personal credit card statement(s) issued within the last 30 days. Credit cards are subject to review and approval.
4 Discount will expire December 31st of the year the customer turns 23. If necessary, it can be extended for one year at a time upon verification of student status. Accounts opened by a minor (under age 18) require a parent or guardian to be a joint owner of the account. As a joint owner, the parent or guardian remains liable to IberCaja for any deficit or overdrafts on the account, regardless of whether the minor or parent/guardian caused the deficit/overdraft. This includes but is not limited to transactions using debit cards, ATM cards, cheques, Online banking, and over-the-counter withdrawals.
